The Omaha Public School District is the largest school district in the state of Nebraska and is located in the city of Omaha on the eastern side of the state. A nine member Board of Education governs the district. Diversity is abundant in the Omaha Public Schools, which enrolls over 52,000 students of various ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds.
