ABH values holistic, culturally competent, strength-based treatment through a multidisciplinary, offering ethical, confidential, evidence-base services with compassion, dignity and respect.
The ABH target population is any youth or adult in need of mental health, substance abuse or dual diagnosis therapeutic services. Inpatient and intensive outpatient services are only available for adolescent populations; however, evaluation and outpatient services are available for all age groups (including individual and family therapy).
ABH has the ability to minimize artificial barriers for special needs clientele. When the needs cannot be sufficiently met at ABH, every effort will be made for appropriate referral to community agencies. Services are available to eligible persons and their families without regard for gender, race, creed, sexual orientation, religion, or ethnic background. ABH ensures that all clients are treated equitably and without favoritism.
ABH may treat urgent cases with priority if appropriate. ABH is a community-based program with the goal of serving and keeping youth in their home community.
ABH meets the highest of quality and service standards as required by accreditation, licenses, contracts and state, city and local guidelines or mandates.
