HopeSpoke is an established and growing mental health agency in the Lincoln community. We are expanding our Extended Day Treatment Program (EDTP) to extend our positive impact to even more youth in need. Join us as we fulfill our mission of Inspiring Children & Families to Move Forward!
To accommodate our expansion, EDTP is seeking an additional full-time mental health therapist. This position provides the opportunity to work with a dynamic, skilled, and dedicated team of professionals while providing individual, family, and group therapeutic services to children ages 5 to 11. We utilize a trauma- and attachment-centered approach that values thinking outside the box and letting children be children. EDTP is a strengths-based program where every staff and client is given the support they need to grow—and have fun while doing so!
HopeSpoke also offers excellent training opportunities in evidenced-based practices, liberal paid time off, and a significant benefits package.
Please contact Jackie Prater, EDTP Director or Kelly Theilen, HR Director at 402-475-7666 to get more information regarding the job opportunity or to apply.

HopeSpoke and its history.....
For our first 70 years, we were known as the Child Guidance Center. In 2018, we became HopeSpoke, a brand that carries on our legacy and mission – to inspire healthy futures for children and their families through comprehensive behavioral and mental health services.
Back in 1949, our organization was formed to meet the communities needs after the Child Guidance national movement identified how treatment for children’s mental health services needed to be different from that of adults. Under the vision of the Junior League of Lincoln and the Community Chest (the precursor to United Way), the Child Guidance Center was formed.
The philosophy of our team is to understand the unique qualities and experiences of who we serve as influenced by emotional and cognitive development, family situation, social environment and personality. Then through dynamic, interactive therapy, we work to examine problems while building on strengths.
