Mid-Plains Center for Behavioral Healthcare Services is currently seeking a licensed or provisionally licensed therapist to join our Grand Island/Kearney MST Team. This is an evidenced based program that focuses on addressing all environmental systems that impact adolescents presenting with persistent and problematic behaviors.
MST therapists work in the home, school, and community.
Therapist will blend the best clinical treatments, to include but not limited to; cognitive behavioral therapy, behavior modification, and family therapy modalities within the MST model. Therapist will perform assessment of family strengths and needs, define problematic behaviors, and implement a treatment plan according to MST Standards. Therapist empowers parents and caregivers with the skills and resources needed to independently address difficulties that arise in raising adolescents and empower youth to cope with family, peer, school, and neighborhood problems. This individual must possess excellent communication skills to develop and foster relationships with referral sources.

Requirements:
Minimum of Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (PLMHP), Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (LMHP), or Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) in Nebraska.
Preferred Provisionally Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (PLADC) or Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC).
