Mid-Plains Center for Behavioral Healthcare Services is currently seeking a high energy and reliable PRN Psych Technician for our Crisis Stabilization Unit. This unit is a 12 bed, mental health stabilization and medically assisted detox unit, and is the only unit of its kind in the state.
PRN Psych Technician will work 12 hour shifts Monday-Friday and Weekends, days (7am-7pm) and nights (7pm-7am), as needed.
Psych Technicians serve as the face of Mid-Plains Center, where staff work collaboratively to optimize client wellness and treatment outcomes. Psych Technicians greet consumers upon arrival, complete basic risk assessment procedures, aid in admission/discharge processes, facilitate consumer activities of daily living, ensure efficient unit operation and cleanliness, and coordinate overall consumer care with other CSU Team Members. Psych Technicians demonstrate positive attitudes, outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, strong work ethic, proficiency in working with electronic health record systems and Outlook.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Excellent communication skills (written and spoken). Bilingual fluency in English/Spanish is desired.
