Mid-Plains Center for Behavioral Healthcare Services is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse (LPN/RN) to work in our Crisis Stabilization Unit. This unit is a 12 bed, mental health stabilization and medically assisted detox unit, and is the only unit of its kind in the state.
Nurse will work 12-hour night shifts from 6 pm to 6 am with rotating weekends.
Nurses perform medical risk assessments on each consumer, collaborate with medical practitioners for initial and ongoing medical orders, and address daily basic medical needs of admitted consumers.
This position requires the individual to assess, interpret, and document results of the consumer in triage. Nurses will develop and assist consumers in addressing short term medical needs and collaborate with medical practitioners and team members, to determine best-care treatment options in a supportive and educational environment.

A $5,000.00 sign on bonus is offered for this position.
The salary for this position depends on licensure status.

Certificate in Licensed Practical Nursing or Registered Nursing from an accredited program.
