Counseling at a residential behavioral health facility might look a little different than you think. For starters, our counselors enjoy the benefit of working flexible hours with limited evening hours and only one weekend shift a month. The Bridge Behavioral Health located in downtown Lincoln, Nebraska is a nationally accredited treatment center specializing in treating addiction to alcohol and/or drugs and the mental health issues that often accompany addiction.

Responsibilities include work in the 12 Core Functions:

• Screening
• Intake
• Orientation
• Assessment
• Treatment planning
• Counseling
• Case management
• Crisis intervention
• Client education
• Reports and record keeping
• Consultation with other professionals.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2 years of counseling experience. Must be able to work with and relate to persons of multiple ethnic, racial, cultural and varied economic backgrounds.

LICENSURE: Licensed as a Mental Health Practitioner (LMHP) required. Will consider provisional licensure.
