Job Description

Starting pay rate $24.570 - $32.789/hour based on years of LPN work experience. Additional $3/hour facility differential pay. Additional shift differentials for 2nd and 3rd shift.

We are looking for skilled, caring, temporary on-call Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team. In this role you will be an integral part of our Behavioral Health Division and provide critical care and support to adult patients with mental illness at Norfolk Regional Center.

Work schedule: 

Temporary on-call positions available. Must work minimum of 32 hours per month.

Examples of Work

Licensed Practical Nurses perform duties within scope of practice including:
• Medication administration
• Documentation
• Initiate therapeutic interactions with patients
• Perform treatments
• Transcribe doctor's orders
• Evaluate physical health and emotional status of patients
• Perform assigned patient education
• Complete order entry
• Supply inventory and ordering; use of electronic medical record.
• Will be a contributing member of the interdisciplinary treatment team
delivering holistic and individualized care to patients 

Job Requirements

REQUIREMENTS: A current license to practice as a licensed practical nurse in Nebraska or authority based on the Nurse Licensure Compact to practice as a licensed practical nurse in Nebraska is required.

PREFERRED: Knowledge or experience working with patients with mental illness or psychiatric disorders. Valid driver's license or the ability to provide independent authorized transportation.
