Job Opportunity: Psychologist (with expertise in Neuropsychology, Rehabilitation, or Clinical/Counseling Psychology)
Madonna Rehabilitation Hospitals is currently hiring for a full-time position available in the Neuropsychology Department of our Lincoln, NE Campus. Part time options may be available.
The psychologist will work within our CARF-accredited Inpatient and Outpatient rehabilitation programs, providing cognitive assessments, psychoeducation, rehabilitation counseling, and behavioral consultation with one or more of our interdisciplinary teams. Madonna provides inpatient and outpatient services to persons who have experienced traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, and many other conditions.
The position may include Outpatient neuropsychological assessment, with the scope of assessments depending upon the psychologist’s experience and training. The psychologist will have the opportunity to conduct assessments with persons in a broad range of diagnostic groups, including persons with traumatic brain injury, stroke, dementia, and other neurological disorders. Madonna provides several outpatient multidisciplinary clinics which provide opportunities for briefer assessments.
Experience in psychological and/or neuropsychological assessment is preferred, although training and ongoing supervision are available for those with less experience in this area. Board certification or post-doctoral training is not required. A doctoral degree from an APA-accredited program is expected. Must possess current NE licensure or eligible to obtain licensure within 14 months of hire.

The psychologist would join a collegial and experienced department of psychologists and counselors, including board-certified neuropsychologists. We typically have practicum students training in our facility through our relationships with the University of Nebraska and other local colleges. Opportunities often exist for the supervision of trainees, as well as research involvement with our Institute for Rehabilitation Science and Engineering.
