Memorial Community Hospital and Health System (MCH) is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Specialist that is integrated with our Primary Care Team in our Blair Clinic, and is looking to make a positive impact on the lives of patients and their families. As a Behavioral Health Specialist, you will be an essential part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating to deliver effective treatments to our patients, including consultations, crisis interventions, assessments, and resource referrals.

Job Summary:
- Assisting the primary care team in recognizing, treating, and managing mental health, substance abuse, and psychosocial issues.
- Providing on-the-spot consults to patients and their families.
- Providing crisis intervention services when needed and aiding in the detection of high-risk patients.
- Facilitating handoffs for patients with behavioral health needs.
- Conducting health and behavioral assessment and intervention (HBAI) services.
- Delivering services designed to address the needs of patients with specific behavioral health diagnoses.
- Referring patients to community services and specialty treatment centers.
- Providing outpatient therapy.
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Counseling or another related Behavioral Health field.
- Two years of post-license experience in mental health, addiction recovery, or a related field.
- Acceptable licenses include LCSW, LIMHP, PhD, or PsyD.
