Job Description

The Position

South Central Behavioral Services is currently seeking a Direct Care staff to work with adults in a homelike setting in Hastings, NE.  A Certified Medication Aid is preferred.  However, training would be available for the right candidate.  Staff work with residents on daily routines, as well as medication administration.   There is no “hands on care”.  Record keeping includes daily progress notes and using an Electronic Medication Record (EMAR).  The starting salary with an active Medication Aide Certification is $18.00 an hour, with a hiring bonus of $2,500.00 after 6 months of successful employment.  Quarterly bonuses based on productivity and performance are also available.  The ideal candidate would need to demonstrate one of the following:  two years lived experience; two years direct care experience in a human service field; two years of training in a human service field or a bachelor’s degree or higher in psychology, sociology or related human service field, which is preferred.  The benefit package includes free Health, Dental and Life Insurance for individual coverage OR if coverage exists, a stipend to help pay a monthly premium.  There is paid time off and holiday pay.  If interested in this position or want to view additional information about our agency, please visit https://scbsne.com/careers or call 402-463-7435.  EOE.

Job Requirements
