Roles and Responsibilities
Transport IBHS clients to Medicaid-approved appointments/trips.
Manage IBHS calendar.
Call in trips/appointments within three days of the trip/appointment and within the MCO-approved timeframe.
Complete trip logs and turn them in daily/weekly.
Manage IBHS transportation phone.
Complete CPI training.
Complete First Aide/CPR training.
Complete the Defensive Driving course.
Complete all required AccreditationNow, CARF, and MCO training.
Complete daily vehicle inspections to ensure all safety equipment is present and up to standards.
Ensure the vehicle is taken in for all routine maintenance and necessary repairs.
Ensure the vehicle is clean on the outside and in.
Identify safety concerns and report to the Executive Director and Administrators.
Complete purchase requests as needed.
Attend all required meetings.
Drive clients to scheduled appointments/services.
Call in appointments/trips.
Fill out and turn in trip logs.
Manage IBHS Transportation Calendar, including adding trips/events.
Call, email, and text IBHS employees and other stakeholders regarding IBHS appointments/trips.
Answer IBHS transport phone and return phone calls within 24 business hours.
Check email daily and respond as necessary.
Clean the van daily with monthly deep cleaning.
Complete daily safety inspections.
Assist in getting the vehicle(s) in for maintenance and needed repairs.
Complete all required training on time.
Attend All Staff meetings.
High school diploma, GED, or two years work experience.
Clean driving record.
Pass the initial ten panel UA and random UAs.
Ability to work flexible hours.
Commit to maintaining confidentiality.
Understand the Agency’s mission and culture and the ability to maintain appropriate boundaries with staff and clients in all circumstances.
