Job Description
Nebraska Licensed Therapist - LCSW, LMHP - for a temporary, part-time position with our program in Ord, NE for Valley County Health System.
Position is part-time, up to 30 hrs./week. No call or weekends.
Therapist responsibilities:
- Conduct psychotherapy, family sessions, group therapy sessions and psycho-educational group sessions in an outpatient setting.
- Provides and documents patient and family education while carrying out the directions of the coordinator and complying with standards and regulations.
- Stays current with group and individual notes.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Current Master’s level of Social Work or a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner license in the State of Nebraska.
- Field placement or one year experience working with Adult Psychiatric or Gero-Psychiatric patients is preferred
- Experience with elderly clients in medical work or case management setting preferred
- Independent problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills
