Direct Care Staff

Position Overview:
South Central Behavioral Services is seeking compassionate and reliable Direct Care Staff to join our team in providing support to adults in a homelike setting in Hastings, NE. The role involves assisting residents with daily routines and medication administration. No "hands-on care" is required. Staff will also be responsible for record-keeping, including daily progress notes and using an Electronic Medication Administration Record (EMAR).

Qualifications:

  • Certified Medication Aide (CMA) preferred, but training is available for the right candidate.
  • The ideal candidate should demonstrate one of the following:
    • Two years of lived experience in a related field
    • Two years of direct care experience in human services
    • Two years of training in a human services field
    • A bachelor’s degree or higher in psychology, sociology, or a related field (preferred)

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour with an active Medication Aide Certification.
  • Quarterly Bonuses: Based on productivity and performance.
