The Position South Central Behavioral Services is currently seeking a full-time Therapist in our Kearney and Hastings Outpatient offices.  Our Outpatient offices provide Mental Health and Substance Use services for Adults and Adolescents.  As an Outpatient Therapist, you would be responsible for completing Mental Health intakes, Substance Use evaluations, provide co-occurring individual and family therapy as well as facilitate group therapy.  Being an active member of the treatment team, you would be in collaboration with other providers such as probation, drug court, DHHS and other agencies involved in the client’s treatment needs.  The annual pay range for this position is $40,000-$60,000, with a $1500 hiring bonus after 6 months of employment.  Experienced LMHP and/or LADC licensure is preferred, but provisional licensure will be considered.  Our agency offers an excellent benefit package including Health, Dental and Life Insurance.  This position does require rotating...

Behavioral Health Practitioners (BHP) provide individual, didactic, and group therapy consistent with individual patient treatment needs.  They assess treatment needs of individual patients, incorporating information obtained through assessments, patient history, and direct observation. A BHP collaborates with a multidisciplinary treatment team in planning and evaluating the effectiveness of patient treatment.  Treatment approaches and content may be enhanced or adjusted based on individual and population needs.  A BHP also shares clinical observations with the treatment team.  Duties also include compiling individual and group therapy progress notes and documenting according to NRC/DHHS policies and procedures.
